So the big date has finally been announced! The new painting for the TX State Music Library (http://www.library.txstate.edu/music-lib/index.html) will be unveiled on the 15th of November. They are showing in conjuction with that a collection of smaller paintings and collages. And so far the show looks great. Those went up Sunday.
Also, be sure to check out the Katrina benefit exhibit at Hyde Park Bar and Grill. I have five pictures in that, including "The Accordionist" and "Three Figures". They should be up until December 5th.
Here it is. Thanks to Jon and Lee, I finally got the new paitings up! Thanks guys!
Hey all!
I have a small sampling of my music online now! Check out www.myspace.com/sethbedford
Just in time for school to start!
I love exclaimation points!
In addition to my busy painting schedule, I am also in a new band! Check out dEEp Edward at www.deepedward.com. It's part cabaret part folk festival. I play viola (!) and am doing a great deal of the string arranging. Come some night and you might catch me singing (gasp!!!).
I am in the process of getting my commision for the Texas State Music Library together. The project will be unveiled in September (date TBA) accompanied by a collection of my music-themed art, plus some others chosen by the music librarian. Check back for the date really soon!
We will be at Beerland this Sunday, the 29th. Check out their site http://www.beerlandtexas.com/
So here is what the Chronicle said about "Tupperwhere?"
FronteraFest: Best of the Fest, Bill B
Hyde Park Theatre, Feb. 12
The final night of Best of the Fest at the FronteraFest 2005 Short Fringe was typically eclectic, with pieces ranging from expressive abstractions to spoken word. Spare Change gave us "Tupperwhere?" with a set comprised of enormous, pastel-painted, two-dimensional bowls and plates. Two sisters in chiffon dresses sang gaily about the aesthetic and functional pleasures of plastic kitchenware. A bohemian artist curiously received an invitation to the party sent by their apparently deranged mother, who was decorated in excessively sloppy make-up. Throughout, a cellist played haunting melodies that slipped between horror and melodrama. The sisters humiliated the young artist by throwing around her voice captured in a small Tupperware jar, resulting in a struggle between order and passion, cleanliness and chaos, art and superficiality, in this Dada-styled musical.

We will be playing with Rokka-Tone at the Church of the Friendly Ghost, Friday Feb. 18. Cover is 5 bucks. This is supposed to be a really awsome venue. We will also be giving some of the new music its word premier!
Tupperwhere? has won Best of Fest in this year's Frontera Fest. So, what that means is we win the chance to perform it two more times. Hmmm...maybe I'd rather take cash. But nonetheless, you get to see it now if you missed it. This Wednesday and Saturday at Hyde Park Theatre: http://www.hydeparktheatre.com/site/index.html
Oh yeah, I wrote the music and play the cello on stage.
